Samoa v Japan a really tough game to call in my workplace tipping comp this week. Size versus speed.

Hope Japan have recovered a bit and will be able to give it their all for 80 minutes again.

Samoa should win. Their size/ physicalness will be too much. Better squad too.

That penalty try was a joke tbh.

Did he stop a definite try?

God I would love Japan to win this game. Then if they beat the States (which they should) the jarps could even be ousted out of the tournament. Just like the poms will be tonight.

Great try. Japan's breakdown work has been tremendous.

Yeah outstanding half of rugby from Japan. They look so well drilled. Everything is done at pace and the passes are so snappy. Good stuff

I kind of have to admit I was wrong about these neutral games being played at big football stadiums. The turnout has been really impressive.

They still should have used Welford Road though.

Superb work from Japan, hope they keep it up.

This must be the most atmosphere that the Franchise FC Stadium has ever seen

The Japanese set piece has been flawless and a go-to winner. This is what you'd expect England or Ireland to do against Samoa.

Any explanation for Japan still kicking goals when they're 20 points up and need two tries for a BP?

  14. Fiery GR Smith

    Yeah staggering

  15. Rego RS Hutchinson

    Means Samoa needs 4 tries.

  16. Fiery GR Smith

    Good try

  17. Fiery GR Smith

Can you really see that happening?

They still need 4 tries now with 15 min left.

Kicking for goal again - disappointing from a team that was the definition of ambitious against South Africa.

Ah well. It probably won't come down to bonus points anyway.

Goromaru is now the leading scorer of the WC, gun.

Paolo would probably have better luck with a move like that in the Premier League, what on earth was that
