  1. Cribbage RG Cribb

He's played for England but he hasn't played Tests for England, so he's ineligible.

  2. Colesy BL Hornby

I dont know when but according to that article he has.

  3. Colesy BL Hornby

    Whats the difference?

  4. Cribbage RG Cribb

Some games aren't given Test status for whatever reason. He played a game against France but it wasn't a Test.

  5. Colesy BL Hornby

Thats pretty ****ing anal then, he's going to play for England in the four nations this year, and by the time we finish this draft he will be eligible. Just let him play IMO

So once he plays for England in about 3 weeks and the draft is still going, i'm going to pick him and there is going to be no dramas about it.

The funny thing is, you have no right to go off over this. We were going to take him about 2 rounds prior to when you took him but we actually did our research and worked out that he wasn't eligible. If he was eligible you wouldn't have got him anyway.

I'll just wait ages for my pick and take him as soon as the kickoff happens to **** you off.

    @ Coleslaw.

I was gonna take him when i took Morris, but took the chance that no one else would grab him, and don't say you did your research as he is only ineligible due to a technicality.

  12. Ged GEC King

A technicality that we knew about.

  13. GYR DW Lewis

    Yeah confirmed.

  14. Colesy BL Hornby

You didnt even know he had played for England...

  15. Ged GEC King

I knew that he hadn't played any tests.

  16. Colesy BL Hornby

Since when did playing for your country not count as a test match?

  17. Ged GEC King

How many tests has Matty Bowen played?

  18. Colesy BL Hornby

    \_/.

Seems they only class it as a test match when its against a decent side.

  19. Ged GEC King

Exactly. He's played for Australia against france but not in any test matches.
It makes sense as games against France are often to give the rest of the touring squad a run and that would mean gifting debuts to blokes that don't deserve it.

  20. AVA T Delonge

Playing for Australia against PNG shouldn't be classified the same as playing for Australia against NZ.

Same goes for playing for England.
