Not denying that. It would be very stressful. Probably why most eventually end up in therapy.

    Yeah that's completely wrong.

lol what fucking planet are you from?

Why do you feel the need to go on ridiculous tangents, pontificating on subjects about which you know absolutely fuck all? You don't know anything about the sports betting industry, and you've probably never met a sharp in your life. It's just so patently obvious that you have nfi what you're saying on this matter.

Not sure how what you quoted from me there is going on a "ridiculous tangent". I'm discussing the topic at hand

I know a lot more about it than you assume. Decades more life experience and wisdom than yourself on every subject, you see.

To simplify it for you, I know that the sports betting industry makes it's billions milking money out of suckers like you. That's all I need to know really.

lol yeah, they've really milked me dry so far. You don't know shit about sports betting. That's so patently obvious.

Wtf does U stand for? :P

Units. It's a set percentage of his bankroll. I won't go into detail cause I'll be here all day lol. But yeah it's just a way of universalising because everyone has a different size bankroll. If he's up 9.2 units it means he's up 9.2 x whatever his single unit size is.

I assumed units as it was the only thing that made sense, but had NFI what they stood for. Makes sense though, cheers :P

STFU. Just because you don't agree with my opinion doesn't mean I've ruined the thread.

You just keep making those 4 figure footie bets with your bank balance buddy. You'll soon come unstuck.

  13. kingdamo DRP Taylor

Yeah, each unit is 1% of my bank roll so then if I lose a few in a row it's not as big of a deal.

You do realise that that saying refers more to casinos/luck based gambling? The odds are always in the houses favour so more likely than not you'll come out with a loss.

Sports based gambling is completely different. The odds are set on the probability of an outcome occuring, but many bookies are making odds without in depth knowledge on the subject, resulting in outcomes potentially being more likely to occur than the odds suggest, which is what sports gamblers use to win. With a big enough bank roll (even if you lost from time to time) you should still come out on top. Just because you can't understand it, doesn't make it luck.

  15. Fiery GR Smith

Yeah because there's no such thing as luck in sport

  16. AVA T Delonge

Of course there is, which is why you need a bank roll to suffer some losses.

Cribb has pretty much made a living on gambling IIRC, are you just suggesting that he's had 5-10 years of really good luck?

  17. Fiery GR Smith

I can believe that. Cribb is a smart cookie. MF?.....not so much.

I wonder if Cribb is throwing down 4 figure sums on footy results like MF is. I highly doubt it.

How typical that the bloke who is a massive one eyed supporter of some of the more typically renowned perpetual losers in popular English based sports thinks luck is a genuine factor.

 Bullshit. My favourite team...the All Blacks...win nearly every game without needing any luck.

The only team that I support that you could perhaps (a bit harshly) label "perpetual losers" is the Warriors. And yeah they could do with some luck. Johnson breaking his leg last year shortly after we were in the top 4 was rotten luck
