Round 11

Discussion in 'CPL Football' started by Escath, Apr 25, 2012.

  1. Escath LE Schaw

BigDougy vs El Nino and Eds

BigDougy comes off a bye finding themselves dangerously close to bottom place, but not all is lost as the points distance between these two teams is only two, despite a five place gap. This sums up the bottom half of the table and the potential points will be important for both sides.

    Cevno vs Jabba

A round's rest was enough for Jabba to find the spirit and energy to hold Eddie/Killerz to a draw last week, but this clash against Cevno will prove to be a whole new challenge. Cevno eased past Escath for yet another win and the biggest part of that three to one goal victory was Pato didn't even score.
This should be a walk in the park for them.

    Gazza vs Blake

Valdes has got to be the player all eyes are on. For three games in a row now, he has saved the rest of his team from total embarassment, even denying Incey and Wee3Men of the win that looked to be theirs. Blake will now play Gazza, who is sitting on 5th spot. It should only be a matter of time before the wall that is Valdes is penetrated and the other ten players on the field for Blake will need to step it up if they want to get any wins.

    Incey vs Escath

Incey came back from a disappointing draw against Blake to beat BigGuns in a three-one victory last round, but every point matters and again, three points will be vital for Incey's campaign. Escath has lost two in a row and any more will bring them even closer to the bottom.

    Speirz vs SMousey

Former bottom place occupants against current bottom place occupants. Speirz has found some form to win two of their last three matches, bringing them narrowly above last place, while SMousey continues their draw-lost-draw-lost pattern ever since their round two win. Of course, if that is anything to go by, this should end up being a draw.

    Wee3Men vs Eddie and Killerz

The most exciting match of the round, third travels to fourth. Eddie/Killerz have proven to be a lot more attacking driven, while Wee3Men has failed to outscore their opponents on too many occasions. Cristiano Ronaldo has been in good form lately and Eddie/Killerz will want him to continue to provide the goods.

    Zohaib vs BigGuns

The home side has been consistent throughout the tournament, but has failed to really do more than that. Here, they'll have a chance to overtake their opponents with a win. This game should be full of goals, for both sides.

    Bye: SuperNova

SuperNova will be able to take a game off and reflect on what has gone wrong in the last few weeks. In the past six games, they have only won one, losing all the rest.
