Actually looking forward to this match. No idea who'll win.

Fiji if they can throw the ball around & it sticks.
Samoa if they can make the match a wrestle.

I decided to take a decent gamble and put $50 on Tariq to score a try at $4.50. Also have $50 on Winterstein at $2.10. As long as one of them score I'll be happy but knowing my luck I'll lose out on both.

Samoa better in the halves and better forward depth. Should win imho.

We tend to say this whenever Samoa play another minnow type side but Roberts repeatedly manages to disappoint even us, here, who don't rate him at all. Surely for all his faults he should be a class above Holden Cup second rowers, park footballers or state cup hookers? But no, he's shown up by amateurs and makeshift halves all the time.

I'll never forget that mid-season game against Tonga where a NSW Cup hooker Daniel Foster absolutely schooled him in halfback play.

I don't know who to tip because Samoa frustrate me so, but I'm barracking for Fiji. Aaron Groom to turn back the clock and forget all about his plastic knees.

Tipping Fiji, they've got the far stronger side across the board.

Samoa win wouldn't totally surprise, Masoe coming off the bench has been huge for them, if they can get some early ball to Lafai and well just get ball to Milford they can win but I don't see it happening.

    Fiji 13+

Rumours floating about that Wes might play five-eighth. So even if nothing else, that means you should all think twice before backing him to score a try.

Wes playing 6 would make a Junior Roqica try much more likely I guess as he could end up in the backs again. Hmm.

Now hearing Daryl Millard will in fact play five-eighth..

Wouldn't be surprised if he was named 6 and he swapped with Wes when they were out there tbh.

Lol @ that double vision joke going right over the commentators head

Roberts, so bad. Two last tackle handovers in a row.

  13. Magic AJ Parker

Samoa not realising it's last tackle two sets in a row... you'd think being the NRL system for years now Roberts could at least organise that

It's awesome how accurate this post has been so far on so many levels. I'm gong to give myself a wrap.

Magic to hurry up and tell me about the Groom try though IMO.

    He just run in support.

  16. Alec AD Funkotron

Civo's runs just lack any sort of impact so far.

Uate made a break up the middle and Groom was up there in the support. Showed turtle like speed to just make the line in time before the cover defence got him

That was quite a golden moment. Such a doh moment from the commentator.

This is...so not worth staying up for.

Plastic knees worth every penny. Mathew Head would've shed a tear as he got over.
