1. Colin de Grandhomme 2. Stuart Broad 3. Mayank Agarwal 4. Jonny Bairstow 5. Dilruwan Perera 6. Gary Ballance 7. Mark Wood 8. Glenn Maxwell 9. Joe Mennie Pretty happy with that squad thus far especially considering I just took a fav player first up.

The nerdy rugby league kid in me keeps thinking there's one to be omitted when I see people name their CPL squads.
I like the Whiteman pick. Wanted him myself - can bat 1-7 and more than good enough for a third keeper.
Sitting in front of my computer for the first time in a long time. I'm happy with this team. I did no stats diving at all. In fact my internet was up to fucks for a big chunk of the draft so besides a quick thread search on my phone and thinking of my next favourite cricketer that was it. Because of that I've got a team I like. cherry picking some of the players/picks I like - CDG has always interested me. And he has been a genuine favourite for a few years now. Picked him too early by the book, but I wanted him and got him. He'll till be a gun. - I hated Broad for a long time whilst always rating him. But the last Ashes changed my mind on him. I've never seen someone bowl so well to left handers. That angle in and nag it away even though his action suggests it shouldn't happen is just unreal. I don't think I've seen a bowler have it over a batsman that's on par with or better than him like him to Warner. I was carnage. - Agarwal is h4x - Picked Dilruwan waaaay early. Looking back it's definitely my worst pick. BUT I've loves him as a bowler for a while now so happy to have him. Will probably open the batting too. - Mark Wood has been the most under rated pommy for a while IMO. Not world class but definitely test class. - Maxwell is a gun in all formats. He won't bowl hopefully but rate him as one of Australia's top 6 if they're serious. - Mennie. Used to hate him. Looks awkward and bowls unconventional inswing. Always had a soft spot for the SACA and wickets year in, year out in a shit team has endeared him to me. He's a serious cricketer. - Moises. Have always rated him and he should have played more international cricket given some of his peers who have played more. - Williams is about equal with CDG for my fav. Have loved him for years as a batsman and now his horrid left hand round arm filth adds more as a player too what's not to like. A genuinely good player from a shit show of a cricket set up. Was stoked to get him when I did and will do what I can to get him into the first 11. - Whiteman is another of my favs. I picked him as our next test keeper years ago but it just hasn't happened. Given Paine's trajectory and the fact that he's a stylish bat more suited to the longer form I haven't entirely given up yet. To have so many players I like, and 17 test players out of 18, they'll go ok I reckon.
