RIP Jock Hobbs

    Did it all in rugby. Captained the All Blacks and was a colossus in rugby administration in NZ. Helped stop the All Blacks becoming a rebel professional team in the mid-1990s. 2005 New Zealander of the Year for leading NZ's successful bid to host the 2011 Rugby World Cup.

    As a player he had a tireless work rate and was a fierce tackler. His career was cut short at the age of 26 due to too many concussions. About the time Michael Jones burst onto the scene.

    RIP. Great that he got to see us win the WC though. He'd be a very proud and happy man.

    Trolling is acceptable but don't troll/look for bites in a thread dedicated for giving your best wishes to someone who has just passed away.
