Apologies (been really busy) but here's my advice for betting for Super Rugby this weekend. First game is Canes v Kings - The Canes are resting the likes of Julian Savea but we should still easily win this one. The Kings have been comprehensively beaten in all 3 of their matches (by 35 points, 34 points and 33 points). Maybe that's a start of a pattern but the handicap is sitting at -35 for the Canes and if you're going to hit the spread up the Canes -35 is definitely the way to go. -30 is sitting at $1.50 which is a less risky but still value bet for those that want to hit the handicap on this one. The over and under for both points and tries haven't been released yet but that's the only other potential for value in this game. Chiefs v Force You'd expect the Chiefs to win this one BUT the Force haven't been as bad as you'd think, the Canes only scored a heap of their points towards the end after the Force had defended all game, same thing in the Brumbies match. The Chiefs are also coming back from SA/ Arg so could be some tired bodies and have some more injuries to deal with. I think those are the main factors in the enticing -15 spread for the Chiefs. Which I must say is enticing. If the Force have to defend all game long and the Chiefs play openly the Chiefs should more than definitely beat them by more than 15 but if the Force get a sniff I reckon it could be quite tight. Chiefs -10 at $1.50 is a good value safer bet imo. Total points haven't been released but the Chiefs have always given away 20+ points this season even in games they've won easily so could be a few points in this one. Rebels v Highlanders - The Rebels have been good this season but the Landers better. Landers to win @ $1.50 is the goer here. Landers -5 is the spread, also some great value there or safer handicaps like -3 @ $1.66 for example. Some other options are Landers to win 1st half and the game @$2.05. This is one of the matches of the round to bet on imo. Sunwolves v Bulls -. Not much of a betting game here, Bulls -15.5 the only value really. Hit lower handicaps up for safer options. Cheetahs v Brumbies - Brumbies should piss this in, last week a good wake up call that they're not perfect. Spreads at -11.5 which has some real value attached to it. Brumbies -6.5 @ $1.50 is a really good safer bet and anything in between that and the -11.5. Go higher for more risk too. Sharks v Saders - one of the games of the round, Saders are coming off a bye which always working in differing ways for teams but works for them having to travel overseas. The Sharks have come into form a bit and reckon they might just win this one. Soooo Sharks @ $1.62 for this one. That being said Saders +8 @ $1.50 is an equally good bet. Jaguares v Stormers - Jags expected to win this one which I can see why (they're getting better each week) but I'd be inclined to go Stormers @ $2.50 simply because of the value in that. Logically the spread +3.5 is value but safer and Stormers +8 @ $1.50 is the safest option but still good value bet (and anywhere in between). Reds v Tahs - Tahs should win this one, Reds were a lot better last week but yeah Tahs here. Tahs spread at -6.5 the value here and Tahs -2 @ $1.50 for a safer bet. That's my summing up of the games and bets. I'm not saying to bet on all games (I certainly won't) but those are the best bets per each match. Also total points (over and under) will be released soon so could be value there as well. Also some multis could be a goer too - winners/ handicaps included. My tips: Canes Chiefs Landers Bulls Brumbies Sharks Stormers Tahs
I'd assume you missed the -30 which would have been a good thing. Read my post above about all the matches. Landers/ Rebels is the game I'll probably be hitting up hard tonight, that and the Stormers match and Sharks.
Sweet, had a multi for those two as well. Should be sweet among others, all single bets won from the Chiefs game. Landers ones looking the goods.
And there we go folks, Stormers won as expected. Only the Sharks game going the other way. I won a bit tbh. Haven't worked it out but would be about $150
Rego thoughts on this? Thiem Berdych Verdasco Goffin Gasquet Cilic (tough one) Djokvic Ferrer pays just over 4/1 but with the bonus it'll be 5.5/1
I'd have still said there was value in it with the enchanced odds, something you just chuck a few dollars on though so hope you didn't put too much on. Stay away from Verdasco tbh, he's notorious for shunting hard and losing games he should shit in. I generally stay away from him these days.
The Cilic vs Simon match was entertaining. Simon just kept returning everything Cilic was throwing at him
Trust me I will. A lot of my tennis bets are in play bets so doesn't really work, ruggers I try and post but know there's less interest and NBA is really all about waiting for play offs at this stage of the season.
