    It is disappointing that celebrating fourth is the highlight of our season but basically that's the level we were at this year.

    I'm relatively optimistic about next season. For the first time in recent memory we don't have a huge question mark over any of our best players about whether they'll still be here next season or not. The players we're being linked with are genuine quality and for some of them talks are at an 'advanced stage' which we've been guilty of leaving until the last minute at usual times.

    Bring on the summer. Bring on next season.

    At least. The thing is, we've always had the money.
    This year though, this is where we make up the ground.

    There will be changes aplenty at the other top sides so if we can keep this squad together and add one or two more to it then we'll be well on our way IMHO.
