    Hey All I'm new and noticed there was stuff here on pokies. I only play them like2 or 3 times in like the last 5 years.

    Anyway was down the club for a feed with some pals and the blokes had a punt on the pokies. so I shove a fiver in.

    I get these 3 dynamite sticks on the Wheres the Gold machine, pick a character and get 4 free games. Theres like 4 spinning games all adding up and when it stops on the top right of the screen its says I won 6000. But when I collect I get about $5.50....wtf ? I don't get it.

    I know I don't get them but did I get ripped, one of my pals reckons absolutely. I want too quick but should have taken a photo on my phone. Just cranky because I think (/) I was ripped.

    I wouldn't want to know what I've lost solely on the pokies.

    Ny Sportsbet account is ridiculously high. Unless you gamble for a long term gain instead of a high return in a short time, you're not going to come out a winner.

    Havent checked my sportsbet p&l for about two years so I'd be scared to look at it

    If you bet and have no intentions of it being a one weekend thing then you'd be silly not to gamble for long terms gains. Bank roll and money management is key.

    Yeah but you do hit them a bit harder than I do, I've never hit a major jackpot.

    I think I've probably walked away with about $600-$800 in my life and probably lost a good $2000-5000
