New Zealand A won by 5 wkts.

 

NZ finishing top in both five day comps and having a bunch of unused players. A Third XI team wouldn't finish last in PCDIY. Really wish there was some sort of natural split that didn't result in 80% of the players being on one half or the split being into five teams. Definitely keen to sim the NZ championship thing in the offseason though.

 

Oh yeah you did too, have no idea why I thought NZ did. Hopefully I haven't scheduled a Britain A v Victoria A semi final

British regions are even harder to split than NZ ones!

Part of me always wants to split up provinces so we don't have good players not getting games, but part of me wants to leave them as they are so they stay more meaningful. People care more about playing for England or GB than Southeastern English Provinces or something like that. I think if we make the comp shorter like it has been this season, it matters less if good players are missing out due to their province having too much depth.
