*Official* John Terry Was There Thread

It's an absolute farce that they allowed the club captain on the pitch to celebrate the clubs first European Cup trophy.

 

To do what ?

General convention is that those not playing the final match, come in suits etc..

IIRC John Terry, Ramires, Ivanovic and others were all in suits at the start of the match, and then Terry weirdly changed into his full kit and came to celebrate. Maybe it was a superstition thingy but he went and received the trophy too.

 

He even wore his shin pads

There's no way it's in the rules. He was getting slated on 5-Live before the Europa League final for doing it last year

I have no issue with John Terry coming on to join the victory celebrations, even in full kit. That doesn't make these meme's not funny though. It's a light hearted joke FFS.
