I was sin binned for 10 so that needs to be taken into account.

  3. Doog J McDougal

BA Storer needs to be added on as if he had a $25k contract ftr.

I'm pretty sure you lose the % mintues you played in the game, is the % of your points you lose.

  5. Baxter MJ Deane

I lose 100 points if I play a full match. However, I only played 70 minutes so.

    For me my energy level is : 1000 - (70/80) * 100 = 1000 - 87.5 = 912.5

So formula = Energy - (Minutes Played / 80) * Number of points lost for playing a whole match.

No because the amount you lose is based on your salary...

  7. LukeTyson L Tyson

I'm fitter than a fit thing.

  8. CCG C Golding

    Formula is basically this;

£100k salary = 100 points lost per full game
Every £2k lower the salary is, you lose another point.
If someone gets injured (ala Morris) you get their salary, divide it by number of minutes they were on the pitch and then I can't remember what to do after that...:(

I don't know whether or not I'm meant to be doing it on sinbinning as well as injuries since it becomes a good thing that you're getting binned at the end of the day, but I'll check.

Does anyone wanna help me by getting lineups for me and subs (when they occur etc.) so that I don't have to trawl for these? :D

Also, Julian has signed a contract for us this week so you need to add him on.

  10. BoyBlunder BOY Blunder

Well its based on minutes played so should definately count.

Giants and Vikings get advantage by only playing 75% of their match time :p

    :whip: In essence, work harder

  12. CCG C Golding

Blame the sim not me :p

I'll sort that once Eds reminds me how to do it...from memory it's not the way Marcuss does it but Salary divided by mins on pitch then times by somethin else...

  13. Baxter MJ Deane

Look at my formula and think about it, it works. It's what you do.

    If you played a full match (80/80) = 1
Multiplied by the number of points you lose for a full match (100 for a 100k salary) = 100*1 = 100

    If you played 60 minutes. 60/80 = 0.75, 0.75*100 = 75.

    Etc etc

  14. CCG C Golding

To be fair that last part looks like the thing that Eds told me...I'll take it for now and Marcuss can help be a Energy Levels Manager :p

  15. Eds E Ames

It can be done in multiple different ways ITBT. Marcuss' way is fine.

  16. CCG C Golding

What was the last part for Morris' btw? Can't remember how you wanted to finish the formula if they go off...

  17. Eds E Ames

    Basically this:

    Example.
EI Morris plays 20 minutes. He is on an 80k contract. What you would need to do is this:
80/20 = 4. You divide 80 by 20 because of the number of minutes played. If it was 25 minutes played then you would do 80/25. Let's use this number as x. So x = 4.

Someone on an 80k contract would lose 110 energy points per game. Let's use this number as y.

Basically, what you do now is y/x. That is how many energy points Morris would lose.

And also; if someone gets sin binned, they have a full game's energy points used.

  18. Doog J McDougal

    Unlucky marcuss ;)

  19. Baxter MJ Deane

Eds's way is pretty much the same as mine but mine is easier to follow logically.

Think of it as a fraction of minutes played, you then lose this fraction of the number of points had you played a whole match..

If you play half a game as a 100k contract player. (40/80)=(1/2)
    (1/2) * 100 = 50.

    Etc etc

  20. Eds E Ames

    Yeah. C'd.

Probably easier to use this method.
