    Not on the cards anymore?

I quite like Michael Morgan at fullback. He has the speed and the ball skills to be a success there.

The Cowboys have one of the easiest first few weeks of any of the teams. They avoid playing a lot of the big guns and don't have to leave Qld until round 6. If they're not leading the comp they're not a top 4 side at the end of the season. Have a go at this:
    Brisbane away
    Warriors home
    Gold Coast away
    Newcastle home
    Wests away
    manly away
    parra home
    brisbane home

Manly away from home is the only game I wouldn't have them starting favourite.

Positional play was lacking a bit early last week, he seemed to grow into it as the game progressed.

Hope he continues to improve there tbh.

Scott out for 6 weeks. :( Feel bad for Tate particularly though.

lol Lui's days at the club may be numbered after the epic blasting he copped off Green. I hope so.

There's a possibility of Coote being back around round 26. If so, that'd be a big boost with him at five eighth. I read somewhere that he basically said that if the cows make the finals he's confident of playing this year but won't risk a comeback otherwise.

    Surely you'd go

    Coote
    Morgan
    Thurston
    Thompson/Kostjaynis

  10. Julian BJ Taylor

Nah I'd dero play coote at 6.

Happy that Scott and Cooper could be back next week.

Yeah. No point fucking with Morgan at this stage.

That really opens your eyes up to the role of the on-field coach.

    Good watch.

Intense man Greeny- when it comes to footy. Completely different away from footy.

Driven man and so glad to see he's doing well at the thing he's always wanted to do.

Seriously dreading the Storm game. Broncos rolled us with ease, Storm could put a record score on on Monday. Cowboys have pissed me off immensely with their fucking piss poor defence. Could accept a loss to Melbourne in a close one if it looks like they at least gave a fuck and put in a decent effort.

At home on the back on 3 losses, surely they'll finally turn up.

"Following the Manly victory, they play Parramatta, Canberra, Cronulla and St George, and then repeat the dose with Manly, Parramatta, Canberra and Cronulla"

Two things from this, what a ridiculous NRL draw and what an amazingly easy draw over the next eight weeks.

North Queensland are still a chance of appearing in all three grades on Grand Final day. Townsville will start as favourite to win the Qld Cup, NQ u20s will start as favourites against Manly and NQ will start as favourites against Melbourne. Add in a Kirwin victory in the Schoolboys and it could be an unprecedented level of success by one region.
