I thought he was nervous at the start, but became more and more comfortable as the game went on. Played OK, can't complain.
not my fault that 90% of NSW players are shit ****s and only make the side because the selectors are ****ing retarded. Qld win 4 SOO in a row and NSW still manage to **** up the Aus team.
Stirling kept saying it was Cronk who put in the kick for the first Aus try and not Lockyer, that coupled with how he keeps calling Parker the Broncos captain and it could look like Stirlo has a problem with Lockyer. lol
Folau got left out of the side for political reasons, and there is no way Hayne was going to be left out. Lyon offers 10x what Tate does in attack and yet is very good in defence. LOL! Comparing a wide running second rower to a defense orientated lock. Watmough is 10x the player Harrison is TBH. Myles should have been in the side, but there is no way it should have been for Gallen. He makes 30+ tackles a game + 120+metres, sure he gives away some penalties but leaving Gallen out would have been lolworthy. Perry is shithouse.
No way Hayne should be left out? Why? Because of his 2009 form? He is an average winger and should only be considered for fullback. Has Tate's awesomeness in defence made you forget how good he actually is in attack? Tate is 100000x the player. You consider Harrison defence orientated? He is a well rounded player. Watmough is ****ing terrible. Gallen is the best backrower in the NRL, he is the worst backrower in the rep world though.
I didnt say that Hayne 'should' be there I said that there is no way the the selectors would leave him out. And even then with Folau out for other reasons Hayne was next in line anyway. I dont rate Hayne as a player fullstop. But he was always going to be there, Folau being left out just gave the selectors a reason to pick him a Morris on the wings. You overrate Tate's attack, Lyon creates and is involved in a lot more scoring opportunities and plays. There is no way Tate should have been there. I was more pointing out the fact that you compared two totally different players. Although I do agree with you, with Thaiday, Gallen and Watmough in the 17 there was a little too much grunt in the side and not enough stability both in attack and defence, Lewis tried to provide it, but didnt do the best job. But its near impossible to get the perfect balance, Watmough being used off the bench is awesome in theory, his running game is second to none.
You over-rate Lyon's attack. He is involved more because he plays 5/8 most of the time. Watmough needs to learn how to tackle and Gallen showed tonight why he should just concentrate on NRL.
So because Lyon is more involved in attack seeing as he has played in the halves a fair bit that means he is overrated in attack. Thats what im saying regarding having Watmough, Thaiday and Gallen in the 17. They are both awesome with the ball, but although their stats show they make a fair load of tackles, they drop off and make a fair few ineffective tackles each game.
I'm saying he is involved more in attack because he plays 5/8 a lot. His attack in the centres isn't anything to write home about. I thought he was terrible tonight too.
