    I'm still surprised how long it has taken people to get managers. Surely getting a top manager is more important than your 11rth best player in a team? Big difference between the top managers and the next lot as well. Still good managers out there though.

    The 11th player you select isn't necessarily the "11th best player in a team" though. That player could be crucial to a system you're trying to build, compliments other existing players, completes a system that you had in mind or just a player you wouldn't want anyone else having/good pickup late in the draft. A squad isn't a pool of players ranked from 1-11 in terms of talent. Managers obviously are crucial to every team but as you say there are some really good ones still available.

    I just think most sets of fans around the world would rather take Simeone as their manager than Deli Ali as their midfielder (all respect to BigGuns). I'm just a bit annoyed that I wasted a second round pick on a manager when I could have left it until now.

    Ill be judging a team on their manager. It's why I picked Carlo very early on and if you hadn't picked Pep, I would've picked him early

    i think Lukic has done really well so far. He's got an elite manager in Diego late in the draft and also a very strong XI

    I also think Luis is a great pick. Before his move to Chelsea he was one of the top 5 LBs in the world IMO. He's slowly but surely getting back to that level being back at Atletico

    Yeah the Simeone pick was fantastic. I didn't expect him to be picked up and thought I might be able to sneak him in later. You shouldn't feel bad about picking up Pep though Notsure. Good pickup

    I think it will be very interesting to see how everyone goes about picking their managers and substitutes.

    Reasonably happy with my side, could be better but I have some great creative options.

    I think a lack of top quality managers is why they haven't been picked. Other than Pep and Klopp there aren't really any that excite me that much. I mean, Ancelotti? Sure, he's a good manager and everything, probably better than whoever I'll get, but it would kind of feel a waste to me if I passed up on a good fullback when everyone was picking theirs, just so I could have a guy who's managed to finish behind Montpellier and Atletico Madrid with two of the biggest spending teams ever in the last four years alone.

    It's a bit like the trend with goalkeepers but a bit more extreme. Once the very elite go people tend to wait till the end to get one because not many others will get picked up and it's kind of hard to rank the best ones anyway.

    I don't pay much attention to football outside of the EPL and more so Spurs, so I always get a bit stuck in these drafts about now.

    Good manager? Carlo is an ATG manager. It's as simple as that. Just look at his record throughout his whole career.

    oh and coming second behind Montpellier. Didnt he arrive halfway through the season? and even though he came second behind Atletico, he still managed to win the CL that season.

    Imo only Pep is a better current manager

    When I picked Carlo, I expected Jose to go in the next few picks afterwards. In hindsight, I could've waited a lot more rounds for a manager but still don't regret picking up Carlo
