Night Five

The Photographer polished his camera lenses in the moonlight. He was still keen to collect some more night-time images. He was certain the pictures of the Velociraptor he'd seen the previous two nights would come out excellently when he could get to a dark room. Maybe he'd something equally interesting tonight.

That's when he heard a curious 'chuurrrippp' sound. Turning to his right, he saw a small chicken sized dinosaur emerge from the jungle edge. As he turned to aim his camera, the diminutive beast veered back into the undergrowth. The photographer pursued the animal, hoping to get a high quality snap. Sure enough, after a short distance, he saw the animal nicely perched on a fallen log. Crouching, so to not disturb the animal, he peered through the camera. Not enough light. He moved a little closer, put in a new flash bulb and turned a small torch on.

That's when he saw the animal wasn't alone.

The small dinosaurs jumped on him in waves. By the morning, his bones had been picked clean and all that was left was the camera.

The Tyrannosaurus was still out there; another night, another roar. In the morning, the docks area had taken another pounding. How much splintering can timber take?

And by morning light, another corpse was found. Rigor mortis had long set in and he was coated in a viscous ooze.

Something else had happened. He stared at the computer screen. Someone must have found a power supply! The power levels had increased to 50%. At last, some good news!

The storm appeared to have abated. Clouds had parted; the sun was shining.

In other news

Fence 3 remains on. This does not change from the previous day. i.e.:

Zones 1-3 (L0-L7, L9)
Zones 4+5 (L8, L10-L18)

Note: Day will not end until a quorate vote has been reached on both sides of the fence.
Note 2: It is unknown how many people are on each side of the fence. It is possible that a very small number of votes count make a lynch vote viable.

 

Also, looking for a replacement player if there's anyone out there. One player has gone AWOL. I either replace them, or they're modkilled at the end of the day.

All orders should now be out. 48 hours start now!

 

Very good game from Shri. Blocked Captain twice from the looks of it (unless there's a third Velociraptor messing around in that same area of course).

 

Probably need to question McGrath on this "StephenZA is not interested in me" thing and also Tarty the paranoid cop (very convenient role to claim since it's a town role that is absolutely useless to town).
