    I think...

    - there's the type of footy Taylor knows would best suit the Tigers current squad but would never win a comp then;
    - there's the type of footy Taylor knows can win a comp regardless of the current squad at his disposal and then;
    - there's the type of footy Taylor knows could possibly win the comp if he takes a few risks.

    And he's just gone for option 2, the safe option, the option that every other coach in the league is trying to do. Power game, huge focus on defence, win the wrestle, structured footy etc etc etc. because at the end of the day if you're just trying to do what every other coach is trying to do, say everything every other coach is saying you limit the criticism, it's the natural human reaction. You can hear in his interviews that he doesn't like coaching this style, that he's frustrated by modern day Rugby League and that he wants to play an attack based game but he probably just values his job security too much which ironically will probably end up getting him sacked.

    Can't find a plain Tigers thread so will post here.

    They've just lost 4 in a row and move into the next month without Aaron Woods. Their draw the next 5 weeks is Storm (H), Raiders (A), Rabbitohs (A), Bulldogs (H, but at ANZ) & Knights (H). I seriously doubt they will win another game before they play Newcastle again. The next 2 games are also without Tim Simona, who isn't an absolute gun, but his replacement is a joke.

    Very, very tough times for Wests atm IMO. They'll be the first side to be completely ruled out of top 8 contention for mine.

    I don't know how to describe him.

    Like he's not actually bad as such, but he's just slow and weak and not really effective. He pretty much does everything your average winger can do but with below average physical capabilities lol. Bit like a Mitch Brown really.

    He hasn't done anything to justify dropping him but I'd rather Addo Carr there cause he's young and really fast. He might be dogshit defensively right now but I'd rather see him develop since we're going nowhere. Plus I'd say our backline would arguably be the fastest in the league with Teddy, Carr, Naiqama and Simona all having a bit of speed and Nofoaluma appearing faster this year now that he's over his injuries.

    Mate the whole club is a clown symphony, we've got the bethovan, mozart and vivaldi of stupid running the job. Our halfback is the first ever person to find a job as an nrl halfback through nova employment and our coach should be in cialis infomercials instead of picking jack fucking buchanan. Buchanan is not only a shit player but just a dumb cunt. At the Eels game few weeks back I yelled out in the pregame warmups that he was a shitcunt and the nrl's answer to hodor just looked at me with a absent minded smile and a thumbs up. I don't care how hard it is to pull out of them sometimes just don't do it for christ's sake. Sickens me that even with such simple things the systemic incompetency of the organisation runs through.

    Yeah. He's gone. I feel sorry for him. Wests are fucked. I'm yet to hear any person other than the media talk Luke Brooks up yet they're poised to pay him 500k+ per year. Moses at least has upside but 500k is pushing it for him as well. Putting all their hopes in those two is going to destroy them for the next five years.
