How good is Michael Morgan?

They can genuinely make a fist of it, that's what you said Morgan can do.

Yeah and you said they'd be very good at it. Two of them were average at best playing five-eighth and relied mainly on their athleticism. Boyd, well, who knows.

Inglis I would grant because of how good a centre, winger and fullback he is. Hayne is meh these days. And Boyd isn't a half. Morgan and GI for mine.

Jack Bird will be up there too soon, I think.

Inglis was much better than average in the 6, and I think Boyd would be a genuinely good 6.

I don't see Bird being anything other than a centre/backrower.

Inglis was not a good half. He had very little ball playing ability. In fact he didn't really develop quality passing until moving to Souths and playing fullback. He just tore up because he's a freak athlete and played at Melbourne where he didn't need to kick or organise. Play him at 6 at Souths, or Wests, or NZ and he'd be very mediocre.

Bird is a pretty decent fullback but would need a fair bit more footy there to really cement it. He's a very good centre. I'm interested to see where Brisbane play him but he could go alright in the halves.

He still tore up, I'm not saying he would have done it elsewhere, but for how he performed in the 6, you can't say he was average.

Bird will play 13, IMO. Brisbane will try to make him play like an old school lock, not a 3rd prop.
