I want to know what people want for the provincial stuff. Right now I've got 3 days of simming set aside for the preliminary rounds and 1 final round. I was thinking either: 1) Knock out: Straight single elimination. Reduces it to 2 preliminary rounds and 1 final round. This will probably be fourball, but can either be stroke or match play. 2) All provinces play on the first preliminary day. The two worst provinces are eliminated and this goes on until we have two provinces remaining for the final. This will be stroke play, but it will make more sense to be able to include more than 2 people per province. 3) Others?
Don't do knockout if it's a regular thing imo, gets pretty old quickly for people who keep getting knocked out in the first round
Provincial is just once per season, I think. So should be some form of matchplay. Ryder Cup manages with 12-a-side, I know we don't have that many from each province but maybe some could play twice in fourball rounds?
Both are still open for discussion. Minimum of two and maximum of four would be my preference. Currently NSW City only has two players and Asia/Celtic Provinces both have four. Would selectors be preferred or should I just select based on the points standings?
