I now I've said it dozens of times but Milford is fucking atrocious in defence.

Broncos playing like retards. Boyd try should have been given. No way in the world does RTS get near him.

With Afoa, Harris and Pulu all due back within the fortnight that's a big win for the Warriors.

Broncos by far the worst defensive side in the top 8. Can't see them doing much come finals if they can't address that. Some really soft tries this arvo as there has been all year.

The channel 9 commentary team are just so trash. Ref repeatedly said that the knock on was from McInnes raking it first, they kept talking over him, and then proceeded to be confused and then questioned whether it was the video ref who 'overturned' the decision.

fk me dead how do they work out naiqama knocked on? it never fking left his hand.

This re-gripping shit needs to go. That is blatantly a try to Naiqama despite the ugly put down.

You reckon? He was definitely in the process of losing it, and with the ref calling it a knock on you can't overturn it.

  8. Lukic L Popovic

Yeah but if it's never actually left his hand he hasn't "lost it".

Whats the difference between grounding a loose ball and that? The players hand is touching the ball as its on the ground.

Yeah based on the interpretation the call was correct. But the interpretation is ridiculous.

I'd argue it was inconclusive whether he still had control before it hit the ground though

Oh, and Widdop's haircut is the literal definition of gash.

Fingers are part of your hand. He clearly had fingers on it.

It simply doesn't make sense. A loose ball can be grounded with a pinky finger. But if you already have possession and you start to lose it, you cannot ground it with finger tips. Logical contradiction. Either you can ground the ball with finger tips or you can't.

You don't need control of it though. If you lose the ball (forwards) - that is, at some moment you're not touching it at all - then you need to regain control before it hits the ground. But if you're always touching it then you've never actually lost it.

It's basically ended up in the "this rule is technical so I'm just going to ball back to on field call to avoid backlash" basket. Which is why I hate this on field call shit.

Separation became a bit of a meme. But that's still basically the rule. They only changed the interpretation of what happens after initial separation.

Yeah, I meant whether all his fingers had come off the ball before it touched the ground, because he definitely didn't regather it if that had indeed happened. And I'd argue that it was inconclusive whether that had happened or not, resulting in the no overturn (as awful as that rule is, I agree).

    That was sexy from Marshall.

I don't like the fact that I can always see Ivan Cleary's teeth. Please rectify, Wests.

Fucking injustice that the Marshall pass got called forward.

Was a lovely piece of work. Touchies miss so many blatant forward passes out of dummy halves but call back so many flat passes just because they result in a try or linebreak.

As a general rule, the longer the pass the more likely they are to call it forward. So retarded.
