    Burgess knocking it on, we take off for a certain try, gets called back for a scrum

    How the fuck does Lee knock it on when he taps it backwards and then Jennings takes it dead?

    How's Cronulla's go forward been this year? Looks like you guys have named 3 second rowers & a hooker on the bench? Obviously Fifita's been going well and I'm guessing Gal/Prior are effective but the rest of the pack don't particularly look like metres guys.

    Bukuya has effectively been a middle forward the last two years except when injury has him playing on the edge. He is criminally under-rated. High volume of tackles and makes good metres per run. He really should be getting a look in for Qld.

    Fifita, Prior and Gal will all play big minutes but along with Bukuya, Jack Williams is a front / back row split and Paulo has conveniently been in a career purple patch.

    I find there's no real strategy or common sense applied when the refs give sides a warning.

    IMO players should only be getting sent to the bin for repeated infringements when they are trying to gain a tactical advantage.

    For example, 3 penalties in a short period of time for repeated infringements in slowing the ruck down or standing off side to disrupt the attack is worthy of a warning.

    3 penalties in a short period for say a high tackle, an offside and an unfortunate player getting caught in the ruck is not worthy of a warning.

    I think we're seeing too many sin binning's where it's clear that the opposition wasn't trying to gain a tactical advantage but just had a bad run of luck in which they gave away a few penalties in quick succession.

    Yeah it comes back to that Gemmell suggestion about refs binning cunts for what they consider to be deliberate penalties, rather than one penalty more than deemed reasonable.

    I just don't trust the refs' feel for the game enough to give them that sort of discretionary power, but they're pretty much already being given it with the dire warning system, so it'd be an improvement.
