5. Great Youth Development
With the senior talent at in the club, no Puma will be left to struggle. Just take a look at LE Schaw. Where would his batting be today if he had never taken batting lessons from the legendary batsman, AD Hunt (word on the street is that the key to Schaw's training program is watching videos of Chris Martin batting). We also have some of the most promising newcomers to the CricSim scene in the likes of JA Chewie and BE Quilty, who will undoubtedly be the stars of tomorrow with the mentoring players such as AJ Son can provide.

4. The Underdog With No Pressure
Everyone expects the Pumas to do badly on the pitch, which is exactly why it feels even better to secure that great win. Just take a look at round 13 of season 10, as the Pumas shocked everyone handing the Ravens their first lost of the season. Immediately, the Pumas won fans from all corners of CricSim. Everyone at the club knows that it is carried by AD Hunt and SA Flack, everyone knows AJ Son should be playing for third grade and everyone knows whenever Hunt tells you that you're dropped because you forgot how to play in the last game, he really means he's going to pick you again in the next round because he knows you will work hard to make the next game better.

3. A Reserve Team Worth Playing For
Why would anyone complain about not playing in the BS when they can instead play in the ALC for the only team with a theme song recognised by millions across the world? Who can ignore the logo, with its purple kitten with a look of relentless determination as it peeks over the cardboard box it is sitting in. This personifies the Kittens team; Pumas waiting to pounce as they outgrow the environs that have nurtured them and are ready to bring their best against any opposition in a fashion only true Pumas can.

Pumas Fantasy Shield
Yes, while checking out the Cricket World forums, I was shocked that they had a full subforum for fantasy cricket and I wondered to myself why has CricSim (non-TM) failed to provide the goods in this aspect? Then I realised, it was simply because there was only one place that was worthy of having such a competition run; the Pumas Cricket Club. Started in the middle of season 10, this competition was a great success with the champion only being decided in the Grand Final. The best part, however, is that things will only get even better, as our de facto president and prominent advocate of the "Say No To Java" movement, Flack, has been working on making a part of the website where this competition can be automatically run.

1. The Club - It Is The Pumas
Yes, the top reason why it is great to be a Puma is because that was one of the goals founder Flack had in his vision of what the Pumas were to become. This club caters for CricSim's finest. This may not be true on the pitch, yet, but the club's recruitment policy of club atmosphere before the best players will only breed an environment where players will strive and come back wanting more. Results may not always go in favour of the Pumas, but off the pitch, every single player can be proud of being in a club with an atmosphere that is not only great, but also cannot be found anywhere else.

Bonus reason:
New signings all get an edition of "Meet Your Pumas" all to themselves.

Congratulations, you've made your club sound more like 1940s New Zealand cricket than 1940s New Zealand cricket.
