    There's only one forum I'm on (actually there's two but one of them has nothing to do with sport and is American anyway), and we wouldn't have chance recruiting from there unless Nino gets his act together.

    Yeah I do work on that when I can. I don't want to make a shithouse simulator though; I want to do it properly. And the motivation to do tedious things with it that I already did once before harddrivegate isn't there a lot of the time.

    As for recruitment, I think Battrick has plenty of untapped potential.

    Yeah huge motivation killer I understand, if ya get back to where you were it'll be less painful. I'd be keen to help run it if you wanted, if the sim came to fruition.

    Yeh AWTA. I tried to get a couple of my mates to sign up a few years ago as I thought they'd enjoy it... They don't like cricket though so weren't interested

    Yeah they'd probably like it anyway, but it's hard to explain the non-simulation aspects to this forum to people. We got a lot of members here from Sidhe originally who weren't big cricket fans because I just started simming cric on their forum and then brought them over. :p

    Rocks opened an advertisment thread there, I've posted once or twice encouraging people to sign up.

    Also pm'd a couple of guys I know there but they weren't that interested because battrick was enough for them.

    Oh I'm certain they would. They weren't interested in trying it though.

    On the note of new initiatives. I genuinely think a designated soccer area like the Rugby union forum would be attractive to new members. I know this has been rejected before, but now it looks like we have the makings of an active SoccerSim, we would definitely fill it with discussion (including off season) and it would open up new markets for advertising.

    EDIT: In the same vein has anyone asked around RU forums?

    Completely agree with this. I'm not that interested in soccer but we could get tons of active members in here through having a designated soccer area.
