Dream U/23 team in the AFL

    Interested to see what people come up with.

    I'll give one a crack tomorrow when I've got more energy, but I found players like Rich, Ward, Dangerfield, Hartlett, Duncan, Hannebury - so many stars.

    Basically I was wondering if anyone would have any idea how an U/23 representative team would look if you could select one.

    Serious lack of defenders.

    I've based this 100% purely on hard core performance so far hence the less from more recent drafts. I'll do one tomorrow as a general one, factoring in potential etc.

    No need to say no offense, if you disagree call me a cunt and explain why etc - I won't take offense at people disputing my call!

    IMO though, Go through the '09/10/11 drafts and find better defenders for Pittard/McKenzie. There really aren't many. At all. I think you're definitely underrating Dahlhaus and Matera. Fasolo was included to make sure there wasn't a midfield filled bench. Should probs be j. trengove.

    Jenkins - yeah I was lost really. It was him v vardy v longer and Jenkins isn't the best player or the best potential but he's probably performed better than the other two, over vardy primarily due to the role vardy's played. I'm sure if Vardy played 1R he'd be ahead of Jenkins for this :p. Lack of rucks ftl.

    Pittard is a legit good player, just cruelled by injury.

    Matera and Fasolo both pretty good as well.

    I hate him, but he's a good player. Nice little lead up/crumbing style who'll probably move into the midfield eventually.
