    Love the heavy thrash riffs on this and throughout the entire Endgame album. No doubt to me its the best album of the Big Four in the 2000s.

    Listening to Pink Floyd's Atom Heart Mother. Such a very trippy sound to it, not quite into the classic era of them but I think its a pretty underrated effort.

    Currently re-ripping all my cds in FLAC. I probably won't be able to tell much difference between that and my mp3s but I have HDD space and I recently bought some decent headphones so seems a bit of a waste listening to (on average) 192kbps music through them. inb4 Flack joke

    Takes ages though, and since a lot of my cds are second hand they have errors sometimes :/

    alright needing some help (picking Heef to deliver the goods here)

    Lately i've been getting really amped on some Opera music. Good as for getting up for cricket etc. Need some suggestions for good motivational/amping music.

    Dance of the Knights is the best i've heard so far

    Well, I'm not into opera, but I do like some relatively bombastic classical stuff.

    From Orff's Carmina Burana, Oh Fortuna is probably my favourite opera track. And it's pretty "big" too.

    Otherwise, most of the classical stuff that I like which would be of the larger sound isn't from opera. Something like In the Hall of the Mountain King from the Peer Gynt suite from Grieg. Jupiter from The Planets by Holst. Fingal's Cave from the Hebrides Suite by Mendelssohn. The 1812 Overture from Tchaikovsky. Vltava from Ma Vlast by Smetana. Finlandia by Sibelius.

    Any of that might work for you?

    I definitely prefer Tchaikovsky's #1 Piano Concerto, but 1812 is incredible from a live orchestra.
