    Dyer not starting not because he’s not done well, but because he’s done so well in those sixth man minutes and I want to see how Downes goes when he’s on the court with Morgan more. Curious if he shoots as much or defaults to playmaking cause I’m in.

    I gave barwick some minutes just cause he hasn't played any and felt dog since its just trials. As close a fourth quarter as it gets. Yates bench production has been epic. HEEF?? WHERE WAS THIS S1??? Andrew james has an off one.

    Points scored while on the court
    Say a player is on the floor, If his team scores 2 points then that player's +/- goes up by 2. If the other team scores 3 points, then that player's +/- goes down by 3.

    If a team of four Lebrons and one javale McGee played all 48 minutes and won by 30, they would all have a +/- of +30, because they outscored the opponent by 30. shit players can be carried to high +/- minutes because it's only a metric of how many points their team out scores the other by while they're on the floor. its also bad in small sample size

    Raw plus/minus (particularly for one game) is not a good statistic since it's not contextual. It can be indicative (e.g. a team lost by 10 but one guy was +30) but it's not always incredibly meaningful. It makes more sense when talking about 5-man lineups with large minute samples. It makes even more sense for 5-man lineups adjusting for the quality of the 5 opposing players.
