Not long before CricSim South's first game now, so I thought I'd start this thread up. For those who don't know, CricSim South represents three provinces - New South Wales, Victoria and New Zealand. A combined team will be selected each season to take on CricSim North (Queensland + Great Britain). The games between South and North will be of the highest quality, and there is no greater recognition short of being selected for the CricSim Test team. Quite a few of the batting spots are still up for debate. I know the bowling will be Tyson, Eggman, Bullpitt and Wilson barring injury, but only Speirs, Lewis and Parker really have their spots cemented as batsmen. Hilariously, Erschoff could find himself playing in the most concentrated rep team on CricSim after a season consisting purely of ALC games. His rep record is hard to ignore, and it's not like he had a bad season - just one in a lower grade.

Yeah, indeed. I definitely think we'll have it all over the Norff bowling lineup which is looking like being Man, Farnsworth, Laing, King, Shri/Deane. Their batting will probably be a bit better on paper though.

I would have thought Davis must be a shoe in to open for Souths, he has averaged 68.5 this PC and has a career rep average of 60.
The only reason why he might not be is because of the fact he averaged under 30 in BS. But yeah, his immense rep record should put him in the mix.
Well I would say the only guy that is probably challenging him for the opening spot is Gonzo, but I would say that Davis's rep record is far and above better than his. Depends what Cribb is using for selection though.
