I know this has been dismissed by Cribb before, but it may be worth reconsidering. We now have two people signed up to CricSim whose primary eligibility is to unrepresented Continental nations: Samuel Vimes - Norway Isaac Dipper - Germany In Seasonal Rugby, there's also a couple of players from France and Italy who have registrations. From what Vimes has said, he counts as "Norths" so Cribb is clearly considering Norway as his primary eligibility so in hypothetical terms, is it time that Continental Europe should be considered in much the same way that the conglomeration of nations that is the Celtic Provinces was?
If they can put out a full 22 with a bit of wiggle room then i don't see why not. Certainly worth giving the friendlies against the other emerging nations like Ireland
From a Seasonal Rugby perspective, it might be worth considering them in the same bucket as the 2nd tier provinces. Then Jabba and Lukic could get some provincial time. Alessi already plays for Victoria, so that wouldn't change. I'm part Italian though. :ninja:
To me, Jabba has been right up there with the best selectors in Seasonal Rugby. Thinks about his selections, not afraid to make the tough calls and some of his punts have paid off.
For someone born in Zimbabwe and smuggled into Australia by his parents Cribb sure is strict on what region people can represent.
Cribb's birth certificate says he was born in Zimbo. True story. His parents have kept it a secret his whole life.
