Broncos v Parra *Spoilers*

    Broncos winning 16 - 0 at halftime. We've been pretty good overall IMO, but Winterstein has been shocking. I have never ever seen him defuse a bomb.

    Well they both couldn't defuse a bomb against someone who can jump more than one stair at a time.

    Michaels was around, but it was mostly Winterstein trying to defuse them IMO.

    **** Darren Lockyer and Hunt have been good tonight. Hunt has possibly been the best fullback this season. I wasn't impressed with his attitude so far before this game, but he seems to have started enjoying it more judging from his reactions from his last 2 tries tonight.

    Players I was impressed with:

    Hunt - best player on the field
    Lockyer - His best game this year
    Hodges - He could reach his 2006 form this year IMO. Has not given away stupid penalties anywhere near as much as in the past in the last 3 matches.
    Clinton - He ran hard and straight. Made a ton of metres.
    Thaiday - Was great when not running at the markers
    McGuire - Same as Clinton
    Glenn - Was awesome in defence, and dangerous in attack.

    Not impressed with:

    Winterstein - LOLZ
    Michaels - Wasn't as bad as Winterstein but also got owned by Hayne
    Peter Wallace - He was OK, but not anywhere near his best.

    I don't think that you can blame Michaels for that. I thought he played ok. I'd be tempted to chuck Michaels to the wing and Glenn to the centres. Other team's are gonna use the bomb to wintersteirn tactic now.

    I thought the same thing. I think he went ok but I reckon that he'd have come off the field thinking how much faster it was.

    Hunt as usual was ****ing brilliant. Lockyer had his best game of the season but was merely a speedhump in defence. Michaels was OK but had limited chances. Winterstein needs to spend all week having jump catching practice, he is great at most other things but under the high ball he is a joke.

    As woeful as Parra played, I worry next week, the bastards always seem to lift their game against North Queensland, then fall away the week after.
    On the Broncos though they were outstanding, Lockyer almost back to his best.

    Lockyer is no where near his best. His passing was brilliant tonight and most of his touches were gold, but he isn't getting involved enough.
