As many hits as misses here.

Reimis Smith has been well solid for the storm found his home in the centres admittedly, the rest of that backline has showed in patches they are quality but cant say they've broken out.

Trindall finally getting a week to week gig and the Sharks sneak their way up to 8th or 9th. Cunt can't defend to save his life but he's got a heap of footy in him, could easily have a Cody like Progression in years to come with the right 7. CHT needs to stop getting injured but he's the real deal.

If you're picking a current front row at the moment and Haas and JFH aren't starting you better be starting Papalii cos he's top 3 frontys in the game no question. Brailey solid as ever but I'd rather have his brother in my top 30 if I was a club, very vanilla - great workrate etc but he's never busting a game open for you.

Riki still does something great once a month but if my life relied on a backrower pushing his defensive line wider by push and releasing the outside man he's the last edge backrower whose been starting semi regularly in the comp I'd want. Lazy cunt.

Sitili has been a handful all year, stepped up to be easily the most damaging and reliable edge backrower for the roosters. Runs gun lines and works his ass off. Hate to say it as a Rabbit but he's great.

Koala will play State of Origin next season if we encounter any injuries or suspension to an edge backrow. Wouldn't even write him off a bench gig with his versatility to play middle and edge to a great standard. Gets his front consistently after making PCM and has great play the ball speed which highlights his middle third stints especially but also has the gift of hole running with the best of them and agile laterally for such a big unit. An absolute talent.

Yeh I like Kolamatagi and Schuster as edge back row options for NSW next year. I don’t think Egan Butcher will be far off in a year or two either, been super impressed by his entrance into first grade.

Mark Nicholls having his breakout season at 31ys of age has been so good too.

Campbell, Walker & Walsh got to be 3 of the most impressive youngsters to all debut in a season too.

Been a good season for new and emerging talent.
