Essendon will be happy, but i think he's been awesome for the game.

Who would you like to see as the next CEO?

    Bring back Big Jack!!

As much of a wanker he is, has had quite a positive impact on the league.

Considering the past couple of AFL ceo's have tried to kill off clubs they don't like.

Oh but i'm sure that is what the Essendon supporters think he was trying to do.

Done a real good job, bar this Essendon saga. Good luck to him.

i am pretty sure Eddie McGuire said i don't want to demote my self to the AFL , was a gun quote

I don't know (or care) enough about the AFL to comprehend his influence. From what I understand he is generally regarded as having done a good job. Would this be a fair assessment?

All I will say is he seemed like one of the most smug and conceited pricks you'd ever want to meet.

I don't see how he did anything wrong with Essendon?

    All Essendon's fault.

I'm just disappointed he didn't relocate North.

Yeah, this is a pretty accurate statement. He has had a great impact on the game, making it more popular, extending it's reach and maximising it's profitability like no other CEO, but he had that aura of arrogance - definitely. He knew he had a lot of power, and liked people to know it.

He'd lost touch with the game over the past couple years. Should've left a couple years ago.

  19. Youngman JE Harding

    He tried pretty hard

I think Demetriou was happy to let them stay in Melb and eventually fold.
