Yeah I think that sums it up pretty well actually. As Emm said, I think if you are going to get relegated into a back seat/just play it simple and really cautious, Reynolds would have slipped into that role well.

Wighton bombed at least 1 definite try and another 2 potential tries in those surges at our line in the final 10mins.

I've been saying all week to my mates that they should have just gone Reynolds and Walker. Not only are they an established pairing that could comfortably slot in and be a link to the outside backs, but Reynolds has probably the best kicking game in the game and would have been a nightmare for us making our big pack have to turn around. Not 2 young hot-heads with things to prove. Moses has a massive ego and would either try too hard or get caught up in his head while Wighton would be over eager to shine because he got like 5 minutes in game 2.

The Blues supporters of them disagreed though saying Reynolds is too old and Wighton won the Dally M... I'm like: "You want a clean sweep here for your dynasty, pick the best players at this moment for the role you want him to perform. Cleary was robbed of the Dally M last year and he'll stroll back into the side when fit anyway, picking for long term makes no sense to me".

2 big moments late in the game almost took it away from us last night though; Munster's kick out on the full and Welch's high tackle.

I think I would really like Welch if he wasn't a fucking Melbourne Stormers player.

Just has that smug grubby play about him.

I find myself thinking that very same thing about every storm player tbh.
