Te'o to have a big year and start in the centres for QLD.

    Mbye tbh.

Hmm Mybe may regularly get picked at first grade at centre but he doesn't satisfy my other criteria of being a centre.

I'm not really thrilled with the idea of Morgan or Mbye in the centres. O'Neill hasn't been a complete turd this season. He'd be a solid option if he keeps it up.

Holmes could be an option, though I'd rather him on the wing.

Or go with a mobile backrower like Capewell or Fifita.

    Hahaha. Good one.

Fortunately, NSW are stupid enough to not pick Mitchell. Its beyond ridiculous. Look what he's done since the break.

Beat up on a Titans side?

5 try assists, 1 try, top 5 for tackle breaks and some moments of absolute brilliance. Thats pretty good for a bloke still learning to play the position.

More importantly, he's had an attitude change.

I dont care how the rough the edges are on his game at 1; how often he's out of position, whether he's fit enough etc. He's not being asked to play fullback for NSW. He's being asked to play centre. And in that regard, he's 10 times the threat that Wighton is.

The only question is whether what he's done at fullback is indicative of what he can do at centre. We know the answer to that.

But yes, he's done nothing and you should pick Wighton. You cunts are laughable.

His passing at fullback has definitely improved compared to when he played there at the Roosters. He'd throw some absolutely dire passes back then. Don't know how you think his attitude has changed though. You definitely can't partner him up with Abo Carr and Walker again. Keary is pretty much a lock at 6 and you'd have to pick Tupou over Abo Carr so he'd slot straight in if that was the case.

I would absolutely love to see an Australian halves pairing of Wighton/Hunt.

MF would go close to killing himself.

I'd love to see a girl with bigger tits than you. Does she exist?

We learnt since COVID he's a brilliant attacking player? Really? Doesn't matter if you played him at prop forward the bloke is an absolute beast he would tear it up whatever number he has on his back in attack. He didn't prove post COVID break that he's a brilliant attacking player we already knew that much.

See this is the part I disagree with, keep in mind I have already said numerous times if I were to pick a NSW 17 he would be my left centre but I can also understand the reasonable argument from people who disagree suggesting that he's a selfish player. Unfortunately he did himself no favours 2 weeks back when his side was down by 10 with 4 minutes to go and he was more concerned about putting on a shot and getting in to a fight than he was actually playing his position and doing his part for the team, end result Jake Friend made an absolute mockery of him and the headlines read "Where's Latrell", you can't put that down to learning the position, that's just behavioural based.

He needs to prove in big games that he's capable of playing the long game without having these brain fart selfish moments. That's clearly what needs to change for him to convince Freddy and the selection committee, not showing that he can attack I don't think anyone has ever doubted that for a second.

He deserves credit for his last three games. It's easy to say he'd tear up anywhere but that wasnt the case pre-break. He's looked far more comfortable since coming back. It has to count for something given its only been 5 games total, regardless of whether you thought he'd carve up or not. He still has to do it.

It's weird tho because you're simultaneously implying that he hasnt really done anything with the 'beat up on a Titans side' comment, whilst also saying when he does carve up well we already knew he would anyway.

The change in his attitude is obvious. He's said as much, Fittler said you can see it in his eyes. And it's evident to me. He's enjoying footy again, and he's throwing himself into everything.

Nobody could accuse him of not giving 100%, which is the objection from people on here who still want Wighton. He will have his brainfart moments, what young player doesn't? But he's putting in.

It's absurd to not pick him if he's giving his all.
