    And some rumours, MF, have it happening within 4 weeks. He may walk off the job as their is a belief Moses wants to punish us in an ongoing brazen battle Moses is having with the NRL clubs. We sacked Kearney (one of his men) and he wishes to strike back.

    Robinson our owner is so involved in the club that we don't need a director of football.

    Green is mr right now and Brisbane need that. If you take him make him your captain. He plays better with the C. He does all the talking after each try anyway so might as well make him skipper.
    He has much mana in the warriors organisation. He has been terrific for us in every way. His nick name is Kakariki (Maori for Green).

    Caveat: Only take him if you can pair him with another strong half. Blake is an organising support half. If you ask him to do everything he implodes into 14 levels of direness.

    Brisbane going for Green would be such a short term shit signing. They signed Croft to a long term deal, and are still trying to say Dearden is the future. Stick the cunts in the halves together and fuck Milford off, firstly to 1, then to a new club when his deal is over.

    Brisbane should have recruited Green to begin with this off season. I remember Bris had the choice.
    It would not be a shit signing to get Green.

    Yes it would be a shit signing. Comparing his try assists to Croft doesn't make that fact change. Green is 33 and Brisbane aren't playing finals. There is no point bringing in a 33yr old, especially a journeyman like Green, unless he is going to make a big difference. Stick Dearden/Croft together if that is the clubs future plans, and let them get games together.

    Yeah the Broncos just need to be willing to concede the season if nothing clicks in the next fortnight (given the draw that Boob posted). Absolutely no point trying to slide into an 8th place with the likes of Green and Boyd (and Luke when Turpin is fit) in the team when they are not the way forward and you have to face the same uphill battle next season with rookie players in these key positions.

    Green is a 33yr old journeyman. Don't really give a fuck that he wants to play for 2 more years. Doesn't change the fact he isn't a great player, so not worth signing at 33. Broncos have to accept their cap is fucked for the next 2 years. Deal with it, and move on.
