    Canberra have NQ at home. They probably have three players (both centres and Wighton) who could be selected for that on the back of a MOTM performance.

    Ramien has Easts/Mitchell. Probably won't be him unless the media decide to flog it to him in the weeks leading up to it.

    The only way Ferguson misses out on Origin is if Tommy T is fit and obviously doesn't deserve to be dropped.

    Otherwise his turnaround in the last couple of seasons is undeniable.

    Having a back who can hit it up like a prop on play and make over 200m is invaluable. Not to mention he's an above average finisher and has improved his defence.

    Still has a clumsy error in him but so do 90% of wingers.

    Nah I think Fergo is playing regardless. The media made that selection in the off season. If Tom T is fit he'll be centre.

    Leilua and Mitchell are poor defenders. Totally unnecessary pair when you have the opposition dominated and already so many points in the side.

    Leilua is the sort of selection that will give Qld a look in.

    Don't know when but he apologised to Fittler, they've squashed whatever the issue was. Got picked in the training squad before Xmas.

    He actually snubbed the training camp in favour of pre-season training because he was salty about being overlooked last season. He reached out after like Round 3 or 4 when the media was hyping him up and made up with Fittler by all reports.

    Either way, seeing as the Eels seem to have not shit the bed this season in regards to team morale, I think there's evidence that he isn't a detriment to the team that he is in (just keep fucking Dugan out of the squad).

    Ferguson has matured by all reports. And it’s showing in his footy. Walk up starter. He’s going to destroy our middle in at least one of the games this year. Has me rather worried.

    Not even sure how I feel about Smith coming back if he does. Obviously it would boost our chances dramatically but it may bite us hard in years to come. The dynasty is over and I think it might be time to move on. We’d just be forestalling the inevitable and potentially retarding our rebuilding phase.

    On the other hand he would aid our young fresh squad into their baptisms of fire.

    So yeah I’m a little torn.

    If McCullough is gone, then I’d have to think very hard about it. We’re just be so short on troops. I actually really wanted to see Hunt at 9 but looks like he’ll have to play 7 with DCE probably out.
