Tedesco the JT of origin for the next decade.

Yeah, not sure how you stop him. His running game is just unreal.

It is but fuck me these under 8’s tries should not be happening. Why we let him run 20m diagonally across field is beyond me.

By the second half it was beyond fixing. Getting 1 all night didn’t help us. It does happen every year though. Somehow we hold down 4 or 5 times worse than NSW..........apparently. I mean Maloney could’ve been penalised 4 times alone for his flops.

Great work from Lowe, DCE and Papalii to give us a chance at snatching it.

Truth be told though, that was a blatant strip by Chambers. Should’ve been play-on to Addo-Carr imo.

I don't think Pearce was that different to his previous origins.. high energy, involved always and playing well.. but then on a clutch moment at the 58th min scores tied up he gets rushed and throws a wild ball to no one that goes loose. He didn't get much chance for a short kicking game where he usually fails. Maloney got most of the other clutch moments after that except that very last pass which was fairly standard even if it looked good, there was plenty of space, he was even a bit slow to get it out there. Definitely better than Cleary though.

That was so bad, should've scored that 4 times over

  8. Magic AJ Parker

Klemmer, Cordner & Finucane were exceptional.

I don't know why Murray didn't get more minutes, in his limited time he had an awesome series.

James Maloney looked drunk in that 2nd, so many poor plays.

    Pearce's cutout :)

    Magic and Cribbage like this.

Man, that play when Maloney kicked after the Cam Murray/Tedesco break

I just had a sinking feeling after that play that we were going to let Qld back in it. We should've buried the game there and then.

Yeah this is a good summary imo. The pass was standard in the situation. It’s telling that they need to play that up to complete his ‘redemption’ story. I thought both Qld’s halves outperformed their NSW counter-parts.

Still think you cunts need shooting for not picking Latrell. Wighton offered ‘Jack’ shit. The way Chambers defended, Mitchell would’ve cut him to pieces.

If Mitchell defended like he did in game 1, Qld would have also cut us to pieces.

Wighton didn't exactly defend brilliantly. And nah I don't think we would've seen a repeat. He's been a totally different player to my eye, since that match. Far more intent. Game 1 he didn't want to be there. i think he very much would have tonight.

I actually thought Maloney's kick was right. Ferguson should've been ready for it. Certain try.

  18. Magic AJ Parker

When he first kicked it I expected to see Ferguson flying onto it as I couldn't see the Qlder winger anywhere but Ferguson was so deep. Maloney clearly just kicked into the space but didn't look where Fergo was.

Such a high risk play when we were well on top.

Yeah, Wighton wasn't amazing tonight whatsoever. But it you are going to pick a safe defensive centre (with attack coming from many of the other gun attacking players in the team) based on either game 1 or game 2, you'd have to select Wighton first. Can't say I've seen much of him at club level since game 1 tbf.
I definitely think Mitchell definitely deserves first shot next year if he can show he wants it (which I think he will do), but after game 2 Wighton was the safer option.

Fuck Munster is some footballer. To play that well in two different positions is freakish.
