    Still in denial I see.

  2. Boobidy BJ Gemmell

    Hopefully that’s Latrell out 10-12

No Mitchell and Smith back could make it interesting. I’d actually be liking our chances if GI and DCE weren’t out.

How is recognising the objective truth that it's a good thing for Parramatta's F/A to be bad denial?

If I was still in denial I'd claim it didn't matter because they were obviously going to finish on <20 points anyway.. :p

Not to be a cunt but Tupou going off probably improves Easts left edge on this particular day. lol

  6. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

That’s an obstruction. Gaining even 1m is an advantage. Keary should’ve been penalised.

  7. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

Fucking lol if Easts lose this...

It's moments like these that I think to myself this will be the pinnacle of my time supporting the club and the rest of my years will be spent being an old cunt reminiscing these days on forums under a username like RobbosRoosters.

The only players who haven't missed a game this season are Tedesco, Radley, Crichton and Aubusson. And it's only Round fucking 9. No club has had to use more players so far this season.

To have the left edge absolutely torn apart before half time which subsequently tore apart the right edge and play out the game with 1 and a half on the bench isn't still win is the type of stuff that makes being a fan worth all the bullshit.

So many of those tries in the second half were just purely because big cunt A was defending in a position he shouldn't have been. Liu on the left edge was covering lateral space at the speed of an ant.

Not sure Matt Scott should even play Origin. His decline is apparent.

GI hasn't done anything for 2 years.

He still would’ve been captain and the best centre we have. Damn sight better than Gagai. That and the fact that he’s capable of being the difference between winning and losing, regardless of how he’d been playing.

Writing has been on the wall for a while.

Just hasn't been the same since returning from injury

I don't wanna stir any shit cause that's not my go.... but you've been pushing this 'Qld injury crisis' pretty hard over the past fortnight'.

One (Not myself ofcourse) might think you're preparing some excuses....

  14. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

Oh yeah that’s definitely not your go. Yawn...

Qld injury crisis isn’t my phrase so kindly reserve your own projections for someone who actually does use it.

We’re not in a position to lose our starting hooker and halfback if you haven’t noticed we’re rebuilding. Call that whatever you want. That’s the reality of the situation.

Everything anyone needs to know about your mentality and the mentality of salty NSW fans is concisely contained in a post by EWS in the Origin thread. I’ll let you guess which one.

Probably should have retired with JT.

Yeh it's never easy to watch a club legend struggle, I remember it with Minichiello after he returned from all his back issues.

You never want to say a bad word about someone who's given so much and such great service to your club but when their time is up... its up.

I'm just trying to get you to see it with a little proportion, it's really not that many injuries and I think you're overselling McCullough's importance.

  18. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

I’m overselling his importance by saying there are Cricsim members who could give better service? lol okay.

I have him second string behind Friend who is, oh that’s right, also out with injury. So what are we down to? Granville, barely FG standard, Hunt (who is our next best halfback behind DCE), Mahoney and maybe McGuire (who is also injured). McGuire of course being one of the few Origin and Test experienced middles we have in a pack that’s already half as good as NSW’s.

Proportion? Okay that would be pretty gay in any circumstance. Relative to rebuilding after 5 legends retiring and having a player pool half the size of NSW, yeah it’s pretty aids.

I don’t want to use any of it as an excuse. NSW are better than us across the park. And we’ve taken on odds worse than this like in 95. We still have the talent to win but it’s fatuous to pretend injuries to key positions aren’t going to make it that much harder.

What EWS said in that post explains why you would want to downplay any injuries we get.

Not even just him but maybe time for Coops and Bolton also. Time NQ started rebuilding properly and blooding into their forwards. That and their gameplans need drastic overhauls because the shit they've been doing is easily read and their defensive formations are easily picked apart. I don't question the effort of those players but their ability now they're ageing to keep up. Younger and faster dummy halves are picking our pack apart.

Yeh I posted a few years back that it seemed to be Green's biggest weakness. I.e developing players.

It's hard to think of many players who have progressed under his tenure, even less when you just look at players who have come through their system. He picked up a very handy squad and seems to be a good tactician but as that squad has slowly started to go it's separate ways he really has struggled to hold it all together.

Really it's a shame to think a rebuild is necessary so shortly after some brief success.

I imagine the club feel a lot of loyalty towards him because he rejected the Broncos to stay but I just don't think he's that guy to lead them thorough a rebuild.
