I don't believe if MOTM in a losing side as I feel it's a subtly different concept to best on ground, but if they gave it to Jackson in Game II last year then yeah, lol.

Both DCE and Morgan should be brought in next year imo.

I'm guessing Wallace will probably never play again, but it'll be Glasby who replaces him and that's really not going to be an improvement IMO. Could end up Ofahengaue instead next year I suppose but I don't really think he's up to it either. Bolton has been unlucky a couple of times not to be selected in the past and he would've done a good job IMO, but he's been pathetic this year. Scott will probably retire. It's going to be hard to actually find another prop.

Agree Slater was very good last night, but he should still stand aside for game 3.

Ofahengaue has potential to be a decent bench prop. Offers good impact with ball in hand and isn't a nuffy in defence. And I don't see him going missing like Wallace does, he will use his coconut blood in him and bring some really hard runs.

McGuire needs to be moved up front so Arrow can start. It’s as simple as that. Kills two birds with one stone. Papalii and Scott off the bench. That’s the best we can do in Game 3 afaic.

Picking Scott is pointless. He is done, no way will he be there next year. We need to be picking what we think our 2019 Game 1 team will be. Scott and Slater aren't in that side.

Couldn't disagree more. The rotations up the guts were shocking, there was a stint there where we had no props on the field (not the last ten, I understand why they went mobility there, prior to that).

Guys like Jake Trbjovic, JDB, Frizz and Cordner are great at what they do, but that isn't taking tight runs on first and second tackles out of trouble when their back up out wide is the likes of Trbjovic and Addo-Carr. I have no doubt that Cook would've had a bigger impact on the game and our backline would've looked threatening had we have had some fucking go forward, they didn't look like dong anything all night.

When you look at the NSW tries they were a penalty try, a long ball where we were nubered up and a quick jump out thanks to a quick play the ball from Maloney, (one of the few times some poked their nose through) really they were fucks ups /lazy d wide from Queensland. We never really rolled up the field and looked dangerous and were a bit side to side. That's because we were too often starting our sets with hit ups that failed to get over the advantage line, either wingers getting crunched, Jake T taking an age to play it or the others just trying to perform roles they're not suited too.

Crichton dropped, Peachey getting a 20 minute stint in the back row when Frizz needs a rest for the last 20 and Tariq ripping a a heads off with Vaughan in the middle section would've seen Cook and Jake Trbojovic a million times more effective.

Thought it was criminal Maloney didn't get man of the match, had a hand in all 3 tries.

Fair enough. I don’t think he’s done. It’s only been a dozen or so games since his reco.

At his age, from what I've seen this year, he won't be origin standard in 12months time. Happy to be proven wrong.

  11. Cribbage RG Cribb

I think he might retire from rep footy anyway.

  12. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

He might. Might not. If he’s available, I’m picking him.

You backed up my point whilst disagreeing with it.

I've never seen Klemmer so non existent in a game, did he even hit 100m? Hit ups are always tough in origin, we just flinched and followed QLD's direction of throwing it wide early in the count regardless of where we were on the field.

Crazy tactics from us. We did the same thing last year, I don't know if it's just because ANZ is a faster track but we didn't play to our strength which was our forward pack so a better forward pack wouldn't have mattered really.

Funny too live I thought Maloney blew that chance when he ran on the dummy because he had a 2 on 1, Chambers had jammed in. Caught Chambers out again on the next play though. Still haven't caught a replay or highlights of the game since watching it in the moment yet though.

There's no doubt NSW stick with Cleary for game 3 but geez we'd really hope to see some progression in his game over the next 12 months.

He was pretty much MIA in attack in both games, didn't do anything wrong just didn't really contribute at all. I'm sure he must have been running around in circles cause fuck knows how he was topping that metres covered GPS stat they kept showing.

  15. Sultan Pepper HG Emm

Are you taking the piss? He was 'non existent' and didn't make 100m because he didn't get put back on the field. He had 9 hit ups for 82 metres in the first 30~ minutes then rode the pine for the rest of the game.

Apparently Milford/Mbye are in contention for the #14 jersey as well.

  18. Magic AJ Parker

Apparently Mbye will be picked. I assume on the bench.
