We’d honestly have won with Ponga at 7. Cunt is unbelievable.

 

lol fucking devo. I still don’t know how we lost....we must’ve made 8 or 9 line breaks. And by the 65th NSW weren’t just vulnerable on the edges; they were getting pus in the middle. Total lack of recognition and game management from us.

 

The real question is, after seeing Hunt do it in Game 1, after seeing Chambers do it in Game 1, after seeing Hunt do it in the first part of the second half, after seeing Chambers do it in the first part of the second half, how did the two of them still manage to do exactly the same thing at the end of the match when the game was there to be won? We hold the ball, play the numbers, play with a bit of patience and we win. Every fucking time we went right, they either played towards the sideline, or they kicked. You could feel it. As soon as one of them started drifting, the result was bad. Not once, not twice, not even three times. Over and over and over and over again.

So how does Walters allow them to get to that point? How did he not correct what was an obvious, match-deciding flaw, before it actually cost us the match. I really want to know and he should be heavily scrutinised for not correcting it. It clearly wasn't identified or if it was, he didn't instruct the runners to fix it. It is game management 101. You don't fucking kick early when you have the numbers and field position. You don't kick down stacked blind sides on 2nd and 3rd and 4th tackle. It's just beyond belief. I nearly broke the tv when Hunt put that last one in. Then I nearly broke my hand punching the table when Chambers put it in row z.

It reminded me of that weak kid playing footy who was too afraid to get tackled and just tried to kick and chase with every touch. Fucking disgraceful...

 

Can someone explain how on earth that tackle on Maloney was a pen? Fucking great shot. Ooh his head hit the ground...so fucking what. There were 4 or 5 borderline tackles that would've been pinged in the NRL but weren't. Seriously bullshit...

 

Ponga will be there for years to come. I don't think we even saw beyond the tip of the iceberg of what he'll produde, given the heavy defensive load.
