    Boyd is completely fucked at the moment. He's either physically finished as a player, or he just thinks he is and is therefore playing like it. Either way I'd sooner drop him from the Broncos side than I would pick him for Queensland, and that's coming from someone who:
    1. Would've had him in the side at the start of the season; and
    2. Doesn't like dropping good Origin players based on short-term club form.

    But he's just fucked I think.

    I think it's all mental, we know how mentally unstable/weak he is. I've seen a few times this year where he has fully stretched out and he looked fine. It's the times when he submits to the tackle 2m before the line that does my fucking head in, and what's even worse is Milford keeps using the cunt for inside balls expecting him to run through a hole, instead of dropping to his knees when a defender gets near him.

    Oates should not be picked. His positioning is awful. We don’t need to be picking fucken wingers because of go-forward any more. Holmes does well from his own end and wins a shitload of fast play-the-balls. As do Gagai, Slater, Inglis and Chambers. An extra yard or two per carry is not worth missing a try because the winger isn’t in position.

    His positioning in attack is fine. He is sometimes lazy getting back to his wing after doing first hitup or a kick return, but in attacking positions he is always where he needs to be.

    I haven't noticed it. He definitely gets out of position in defense, but not attack. Not only is he good with positioning, he is one of the best finishers in the game, he scores ones others simply couldn't.

    I think Holmes is a far better finisher and Oates has terrible positioning in attack based on multiple instances this year and which have been there his entire career. But yeah agree to disagree.
