Decent night out tbf. Not heard of the Cov Colosseum but Kasbah's pretty good. They do hotdogs in the smoking area which is always a win. Pretty close to the Ricoh actually

Did a search on t'internet. Apparently the Colosseum is now the Kasbah. Still in the same location, though looks like they've done the area up a bit since my day. Cars parked out in front?!? Bloody hell, they'd have been on bricks in a flash back then.

Brown's had one poor game, otherwise he's been very good in a disjointed Quins side.

Just to check in after round 8 - the table currently stands at:

    Saints
    Exe
    Bath
    Sarries
    Leicester
    Wasps
    Sale
    Quins
    Glaws
    Newcastle
    LI
    LW

I'm feeling quite bullish about my predictions - got the top 4, middle 4 and bottom 4 in the right place at the moment, although not in the correct positions. London Welsh are going to have to pull out something special to make me right though. They are proper gash so far.

Not quite. you need Wasps and Gloucester to swap to have each of the 4s

Well I suppose technically you're correct.

    Mauger back for Leicester

    BBC.

Aaron "Great Nephew of Ivan" Mauger returning to Welford Road as head coach.

If he follows the path beaten by Pat Howard expect him to be in charge of New Zealand cricket by 2017.

    frig me that's flipping outstanding

Sam Burgess to play against Quins this weekend

  10. Howe JHF Howe

Sounds really promising. Would love him to be a big ball-carrying 6 or 8 if he can pull off the breakdown work. Expecting no problems with his defence.

From an Egnalnd pov i want him at 12. It's one position we really need nailed down by someone soon. If he gets regular game time between now and the start of the 6N I would definitely have no quarms to him being fas tracked into the squad for some game time with an eye to the WC

Bath giving them a solid tonking without him so far, regardless of score. Looks like Burgess' first game time of union will ironically come against 13 men

  14. Howe JHF Howe

Barnes doing his level best to make anything else about the game unwatchable. Carding all the Quins props rather than giving the penalty try just serves to make it all about the cards

  15. Howe JHF Howe

Here he comes. Standing at 12 to make Kyle Eastmond look about 3 kilos in comparison

This is a fucking awful game.

Burgess update: Has had the ball twice, on both occasions offloaded it to no one

Dylan Hartley ensures no advantage for Northampton with a red card against Leicester for the third time in 18 months

    complete pillock

You can take the boy out of Rotorua, but... :ninja:

Nah, is clearly a headcase on the field. It's a real shame because he's patently a clever lad & would probably be England captain had he learned even a modicum of self-restraint.

Would you expect a QPR v West Ham game to be a sell out/sell out well in advance? I've got Nfi and am over there next april
