Football international weeks might actually be bearable after all. Quality game between Harlequins and Scarlets. Good win for Edinburgh earlier as well, hopefully the Glasgow Warriors can put in a good display tomorrow.
Tried to catch one of the afternoon games at the pub. Turns out it didn't open before 5pm. first world problems
Jerry has rugby on in pubs, eh? Probz an Oirish themed one, I guess? Oh, and how good was Shingler's (sp?) try for Scarlets? EDIT: Or maybe Scott Williams's...
Solid guess. Decent enough place, if pricey beer by German standards. Should be back to round-ball next week.
Went to the Leicester-Treviso game on Friday, we were awful but at no point was there any danger of, well, anything other than exactly what we needed. The play down the backline was so needless and shoddy. Youngs and Flood seemed to have no idea, you'd never guess they had so many England caps between them. Was impressed by Blaine Scully. Has a fine offload.
I am already pants-wettingly excited about the prospect on the 7th December of Toulon being hosted by the mighty mighty Exeter-ter-ter-ter-ter. It wasn't so long ago I was watching Exe play the likes of Otley and Pertemps Bees... Unfortunately missing out on the return leg as the missus saw through my plans to book a "romantic holiday" in Toulon.
Haha. Nice try. My missus and I have a similarly 'romantic holiday in Melbourne coming up. She'll love the crowds at the MCG on Boxing Day.
It's 24-3 now. Tears all gone? Benjamin looking sharp. Good to see after his neck injury. Was always highly thought of as a youth.
Four tries! Nice to get it via Plan A after the Montpellier forwards had matched us for 60 minutes. Feels much more comfortable now.
Ryan Lamb is shite. So very, very shite. Edit: That drop goal just denies Montpellier a bonus point, that's just mean.
