Lynch Tartmaster: Morgieb, Himann, McGrath, Speirz

    That's a lynch.

    Day Result

And the remaining group massed together and made a decision. There had been some suspicions about their target for some time; and now was the time to act upon those suspicions.

They approached their target carefully and weren't put off by his reflective Aviator shades or plastic LAPD badge. The beast cocked his head with curiosity - danger might be afoot. He clucked a couple of times and then decided that the people were acting with intent. He sprayed venom with wild abandon, but they numbered too many.

Tartmaster has been lynched. He was the Dilophosaurus

Himann has been sprayed with venom and has been paralysed. He cannot complete a night action.

    Night Begins

@StephenZA is allowed to make one night time post in this thread only.

    @Arheiner @McGrath @morgieb @Speirz @StephenZA (+@Himannv) remain in the game.

  4. morgieb MC Burridge

So there's still another carnivore out there? Shit.

  5. Speirz DG Speirs

Still a good result. Reading into it, am I to understand Himannv was silenced for the night while lynching Tart?

  6. morgieb MC Burridge

No doubt but everyone else has evidence to clear them. Gonna make scumhunting harder.

And yeah that sounds about right.

  7. Speirz DG Speirs

From my perspective it's probably a little easier. 2 open 3rd party (myself and McGrath), 2 who I know are human (Stephen and Himannv), and 2 left over in yourself and Arheiner. Unless we think there's a lore-based reason Stephen and Himannv could come up as human and be maf-aligned I'm obviously keen to hear from both of you.

Looks like I can't do any action in the night but can talk. Procompsognathus (or compy for short) is left. Small dinosaur that kills in numbers as per the writeup. My guess is Arheiner but hard to say for sure.

My only post but nothing of interest to actually tell. Arheiner not lynching on Tart is about the only thing that I will point out. I don't trust morgieb. And I wonder about Speirz, would be a great double bluff from the dinos.

  10. morgieb MC Burridge

I don't get why I'm not trusted beyond the obvious of not being cleared by Speirz and there being an unknown dino left?

The dinos wouldn't attack one of their own. I have clears. And Himannv literally gave my character away a couple of pages back.

  11. Speirz DG Speirs

If that's the case, Arheiner would most likely be guilty as well. He's the one who pushed me out as human. May as well target him first. Dodgson would have to be either not counter claiming or janitored as well

  12. Speirz DG Speirs

Or not in the game and given out to maf to claim

  13. Himannv LV Himann

    Apologies.

Sorry for the late result. My computer had crashed and it lost the previous 2 nights, so I've had to reconstruct it (i'm sure I saved it, but apparently not - who thought Excel had autosave??)

    Anyway.

    Night Thirteen

The pack of small dinosaurs were roaming the island. They'd had an enjoyable time the last couple of nights - as it seemed that the number of carnivores were on the wane, their number was increasing. Still, this was a facile meal for them. The target was just sitting there, not moving. A couple of the dinosaurs looked at each other in curiosity. Still, they must have concluded a still meal is a good meal.

Himannv is dead. He was Sarah Harding, Behavioural Biologist

The fences were still on the blink. On went Fence 1, off went fence 4.

    Fences 1 & 2 are now on.

That separates locations L3-L6 and locations L7 & L9. The remainder of the island is still one zone (L0-L2, L10+)

    So right now:

    McGrath - claimed herbie dino/Braichasaurus.
    Speirz - claimed Dodgson
StephenZA - cleared by Speirz, claiming responsibility for the power.
me - cleared by hedger, Himmanv outed me as Ian Malcolm.
Arheiner - evidence from Athlai/Speirz suggests he may be human. However no definite claim thus far.

    So Lynch Arheiner yeah?

  17. Speirz DG Speirs

Yeah, I'll give him a chance to state his case but that looks likely.

  18. Speirz DG Speirs

    Actually, stuff it. Lynch Arheiner

I got a guilty last night, was just tempted to see him scramble.

  19. Arheiner SIA Yates

Heh, jig's been up a while. Let's see what the fences have in store. Was expecting Baxter and Phlegm to buy more time after getting caught than they did, Baxter did actually have a kill shield, but by the time fences died basically everyone was obviously clear or guilty other than me+McGrath (Who then killed Baxter through the protection).

Not over yet though unless there's a roleblocker with potential Fence RNG, still time to choose the other side Speirz. (pity you got in the way of me hardclaiming AVA's character.) Not like town will miss you if I live to the night anyway.

  20. Speirz DG Speirs

I mean, numbers wise it just doesn't make sense for me to flip now. We'd have to get McGrath as well, and the fences are just as likely to stop me from winning outright as they are to help us. If I'd had more dino reports when I joined the game I would've considered maf-siding, as it was though there was no shot really. I genuinely didn't think I'd get this far once I'd openly leant to leading the town, thought someone would've taken me out.

Pretty much a great example of why third party players who aren't killers or recruiters are good assets for town. They essentially got an extra cop and whatever powers McGrath had, and had knowledge the whole time that we had to be truthful because if we were caught lying we'd be lynched.
