Yeah Cartwright's bowling is a meme and he only bowled one over anyway so I don't really count him. But they still had five seamers and no spinners, and the fact that when they brought on a part-timer it was yet another seamer does make it that little bit worse.

Probably can't be worse than Tart's efforts tbf.

(unless I was playing, then it'd be worse)

I don't think you're playing Tests, but giving specialist bats the second new ball is always worth the lol. Happens relatively often too.

    This!

Australia won the toss and opted to bat.

    10 overs: Australia 32/1

David Warner completed a series of three innings for 11 runs as his wicket was once again collected early by Dyer.

    20 overs: Australia 95/1

There was a convincing shift in the tension as CricSim's change bowlers came on, with Smith and Khawaja shifting gears and counter-attacking well. Weaver's opening over in ODIs went for 12.

    30 overs: Australia 115/2

While Smith passed fifty, Khawaja became stuck against the spinners. After Mace and Alger were able to put on a squeeze for a few overs, Chewie got the key wicket of Smith with his second ball, largely thanks to an outstanding one-handed catch by O'Driscoll. Alger was able to keep up the pressure with two successive maidens to Khawaja.

    40 overs: Australia 168/4

Chewie was able to end the miserable Khawaja-Cartwright partnership whith his second wicket. That brought Hadscombe to the crease for an attacking cameo that was ended by the returning Weaver, strike for his first wicket despite proving expensive.

    50 overs: Australia 261/5

Chewie and Mace had oth bowled well but towards the end of their spells found themselves targeted by wade, the keeper-batsman smashing 25 off 26 before skying Dyer straight up in the air. Khawaja, who had battled through some strokeless periods all innings, combined well with the attacking at the other end, and helped himself to a few boundaries to bring up his unbeaten ton in the final over. Faulkner contributed a handful of shots in the slog overs to get Australia up to a respectable score.

    10 overs: CricSim 35/4

Josh Hazlewood struck early for the Australians, ensuring MAtt James would have no contribution to the reply, and soon after O'Driscoll failed to take his chance in his second ODI. It went from bad to worse as CricSim managed their first middle order run out without the input of Delonge, Hawke running himself out as he called for a single to short third man. Two balls later, Read fell for a duck.

Chewie came in to try and steady the ship at 19/4, while Mahmathlai played on a different pitch to everyone else, clonking two fours and a six from his first 20 balls.

    20 overs: CricSim 73/6

Mahmathlai's promising knock ended soon after as he aimed to blast Mitchell Starc over midwicket, losing his leg stump in the process. Chewie, attempting to consolidate, was adjuged lbw off Hastings for only 8 and the CricSimmers were staring down the barrel.
