    10 overs: CricSim 60/0

The Pakistan innings had been a fine example of cautious opening, steady partnership building, and then seizing the advantage at the end. Mahmathlai opted to not do that, and blast 14 off Mohammed Aamer's first over. Later, he played out a maiden. A strong sign of intent from the CricSim openers.

  2. Howe JHF Howe

    20 overs: Cricsim 110/0

The openers were having a great time chasing down what was looking increasingly like a mediocre total. Both Mahmathlai and James compiled powerful half centuries, the latter clonking a huge straight six off Nawaz to bring up the first hundred partnership of their careers.

    30 overs: CricSim 162/1

Mahmathlai pushed ahead of his openning partner in the middle overs, progressing swiftly into the 80s, but with a hundred beckoning, was the first man out, bowled by Shoaib Malik. Tom Delonge got off the mark with a three as CricSim looked to make their strong position count.

    40 overs: CricSim 231/2

Tom Delonge hit his first ball for three to keep the strike, hit the next two deliveries for four, and then played around a straight one to be out for 11 (4). Despite that momentary distraction, Matt James was still there, upping his scoring against the returning seamers and a flurry of boundaries off Ashraf got him to another composed hundred.

  6. Howe JHF Howe

    47.2 overs: CricSim 292/2

While ably supported by Oscar Wood, the star of the show was unquestionably James, whose unbeaten innings became his new highest score. The opener fittingly hit the winning runs.

    CricSim won by 8 wickets.

I wouldn't blame the selectors for never considering me again tbh.

    Give me a go pls

  12. AVA T Delonge

I peaked in the first series, on the down slope towards retirement now.

Such a weird Pakistani bowling attack. Nawaz doesn’t even have the (3) beside his name.

So I think game three Scolari needs to go!

One the one hand you have the cliched ‘can’t change a winning team’ on the other hand you have every rational fibre in my being saying ‘drop Lewis’

    It’s a toss up really

Cambridge deserves a game following all his hype man efforts IMO

Should never have dropped me. At least I kept it tight.

You had both the worst average and worst economy of regular bowlers throughout the CT. so spare me morgie

  20. morgieb MC Burridge

Well I mean I was surprised I was kept for the whole CT as I had some utter stinkers in those games. Note that I didn't complain about my dropping (at least not seriously) when it happened :p

Point is it's still better than Lewis.
