I'd be surprised if Grant is given 80mins a game from the outset. You'd think he and Mbye would work in a rotation all season?

Dooey is another Kahu. Squad player, nothing more.

  3. Julian BJ Taylor

He's shown nothing but herp derp as a ball player. People presume he can because he's played so many fill in games in the halves for Souths....and that as because they didn't have a back up half

Speed from Hughes. Wighton caught out. Good try.

Maori's bombed that one. CHN carving up.

Jeez DWZ is a good winger. Does most things really well.

    What a run from Ramien.

  9. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

Jeez the Maori's have bombed some tries.

How is that not a push in the back?

  11. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

Very high quality game for February.

Mitchell has been quite solid. Definitely a good platform to build from.

Fuck that's a tackle from Latrell. Jeez Smith has been good.

If Walters doesn't start Fifita this year he should be sacked.

  15. AVA T Delonge

How have they let Smith do that 3 times now? Such trash defence.

    Smith motm by far.

I loved having him and a fit Mansour on the wings (despite mansours mansour moments), genuine wingers.

My absolute hatred of DWZ as a fullback/person probably clouds my view of him as a winger sometimes; he's world class there.

Yeah I think they do a good job of recognising that the purpose of in-game commentary is to sell the game to casuals, but that only people who want a deeper insight will bother watching the post-game stuff.

I think they've been trying to do that on Fox League since it got its own channel as well, but their insistence on hiring recently retired meathead players to fill all the slots has made it harder to pull off. At least hire former coaches for those shows if you want to make it a jobs for the boys thing.
