Squad Depth: B-

I tried to do a write up on this squad 2 times before this one. There is just something about this team that I hate. It's hard for me to put the finger on how good or bad it is. It's just there. There are good picks and there are bad picks and this is a team that could probably jam it's way into the top 8 or bottom 8 with equal ease.

Best Pick: Mohammad Abbas - Round 1
Morgs on Abbas: Would've been a dream pick a year ago, but now I feel like his bubble has burst post-injury. Still, the post-injury sample size isn't huge so he should still be quality in this, though I do think there were a couple of better quicks left over.
Cribb's Best Pick: Dinesh Chandimal - Round 3
Morgs on Chandimal : Though he hasn't played much Tests lately, he still provides excellent balance to a side given he can bat 4/5 and keep. Very good pick.
Worst Pick: Taijul Islam - Round 6
Morgs on Taijul: Hmmm....he does have a Test record at least, but it's not a good one. I guess I can see the logic though, especially given the other spinners left over have even more concerns.


This team has so many journeyman in the wider squad, probably the most of anyone, but it has some h4x in it too. I really hate it. It's decent enough but I'd say it's close to Spark in how much looking at this team makes me mad. Dunno why really, might need to see a professional but enough about me. I'm a big fan of Taijul btw, after Watling hes my second favourite player in the team, but he ain't round 6 material. Middle of the pack bound.

Twice you poached picks from me I'm sure would be mine. Das hurt the most though. Probably the most underrated drafter there is, Captain always selects a h4x XI and is one of the stronger in the back end of the draft and CPL 19/20 was no exception. Destined for the finals again.

Best Pick: Liton Das - Round 13
Morgs on Das: Hard to assess. His international performances haven't been flash but has dominated domestics. Weighted against that is that he's probably not the only Bangladeshi batsman to dominate domestics there and I question the quality of Bangaldeshi domestics. Still, probably a decent pick at this point especially given he's a keeper.
Cribb's Best Pick: Jarrad Lysaught - Round 18
Morgs on Lysaught : Morgie: Lysaught - I don’t know if he’s any good or not, but it doesn’t matter. What matters is the moment around this pick. For giving us one of the best CPL moments of all-time, this is an amazing pick.
Worst Pick: Mosaddek Hossain - Round 11
Dev on Hossain: Interesting one in that his recent FC form has actually been kinda bad even though his overall record remains great. Still, should probably be a good option in this.


Mosaddek is fine. A team with no real bad picks and plenty of VERY strong picks for the round. Captain has a better team than me and I don't like it. Cribb wants to say that you shouldn't have traded Lysaught and that Lysaught is h4x, but Mukund is a ridiculous "r18" pickup.

I can't wait to knock you out of the tournament undeservedly again. It'll be so much fun.
