    Fuck these refs are a joke. Fifita gets a penalty for someone laying in the ruck maybe a second too long, when Fifita comes in late and then climbs over the player to get to marker almost every tackle he makes.

    These games without DCE are crucial for their confidence as well. With such a long and expensive contract, it seemed like every game last season they just threw it to DCE and let him try and win the game as he was the marquee player. The fact they can put together these solid performances without him is a huge sign they are on the up (unfortunately).

    They're doing a bit better than I thought they would without DCE & Trbojevic, but I'm not surprised with the performances under Hasler either. He's the 2nd/3rd most successful coach of the 2000s and even if he left the Bulldogs in a terrible state, he did take them to the grand final twice in his time there and without particularly impressive rosters.

    Saying Pearce has been great the last month or so is no different to what I’ve been posting. In fact I said it before you did.

    Saying he’s almost single-handedly turned their season around is an exaggeration; one of many you’ve made this year.

    And just as an aside it’s hilarious that on the subject of Mitchell Pearce, you of all people should accuse anyone of bias. The lack of self-awareness is truly astounding.
