    The best was Katoa's break where Darius batted the pass down and the Broncos picked it up offside but it was play on because the pass just magically went to ground mid air. That's one of the finest I've seen

    I thought he was offside live, but replay looked close.

    There were 2 sets where Sharks players knocked the ball on while Broncos attacked the line, and instead of restarting the set, refs called for a handover. The worst was when Boyd saw they called it was still 5th, so he prances around with the ball looking at the umpire and just takes the fucking tackle and complains. Play the whistle and offload you stupid cunt, then hurry the fuck up and retire.

    The worst thing about it from a Cronulla perspective was the fact that they had a try* denied off a pass that, while IMO still forward, was much less forward than that one.

    *May or may not have actually resulted in a try if they hadn't called it forward as I think some of the defenders heard the call and stopped chasing

    The defenders definitely gave up, wouldn't have been a try. But it's not really hard to score against Brisbane, Cronulla just suck.

    Surely if you're going to do a 'Magic weekend' you do it in Sydney.

    And if you decide you're going to take it up to Brisbane (a one team city) surely you do it during the school holidays so other 15 sets of fans can at least make a trip out of it.

    Is that not common sense?

    I'm sure that's the same retarded logic they used. On average nearly 100,000 people attend an NRL game in NSW every weekend compared 30,000 who attend 1 game a fortnight in Brisbane.

    What about all the supporters of Sydney clubs that live in SEQ that only get to watch their team play every few years? This is a perfect time for all of them to see them live. All the fans in Sydney rarely go and watch their home side.
